What a great story! This was something different from what I have read. A Cherokee book is something completely new to me. Honestly, I don’t know much about the heritage of Cherokee tribes and this was a nice story to read. This book has many twists and turns to keep you on your feet. I would think one thing and then think something completely different the next minute. It really kept me on my toes.

Whisper has been through so much from the death of her parents and her suicidal attempt. She seems to become content again after saving this stranger in the woods who cannot remember anything about his past. As the book develops, you feel the connection between the two.

I highly recommend this book to anyone. It was a great story and I am happy to have had the opportunity to listen to the audio version.
